Job Description

We are seeking a Network Engineer for an immediate opening in the Cherry Creek area of Denver (Colorado Blvd.). This role will start off as a 6 month contract opportunity with the strong ability to extend into a long term contract role. This role can start as soon as next week! This will be an onsite/in-person role (no remote) and will be assisting a variety of critical initiatives in support of the pandemic.

This position will be responsible for daily network operations support covering Cisco Technologies to iclude:

  • EIGRP/BGP routing
  • RSTP switching
  • Wireless, Identity service engine (ISE)
  • Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), and Prime Infrastructure (PI).
  • Working with customers on incidents/requests
  • Some in-state travel to support remote sites
  • Installation of network equipment

Qualifications

Min Qualifications:

  • 3 years of EIGRP/BGP and RSTP protocols administration
  • 3 years of Cisco wireless experience managing wireless LAN controller and access points
  • 3 years of Cisco Identity service engine (ISE) application administration
  • 3 years of managing network infrastructure supporting both data and VoIP traffic
  • 3 years of customer support experience in IT field

Nice to have:

  • CCNA certification with emphasis on wireless
  • 2 years of network design experience
  • 2 years of Quality of Services (QoS) administration
  • 2 years of Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) administration
  • Knowledge of Cisco Prime Infrastructure (PI) network monitoring
  • Knowledge of SolarWinds network monitoring
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP

Additional Information

This long term contract (with the option to extend) will be onsite Monday through Friday and is imeediately available.
