_Welcome to FirstBank Incentive_ – As of April 2, 2018, full-time new hires will receive $500 and part-time new hires will receive $250 payable on the employee’s first paycheck. Certain restrictions may apply.

The ideal candidate should enjoy working in a fast paced environment and be able to meet deadlines. The position will require the representative to learn and work in several positions in the Loan Setup and Disbursement department, understand the general setup and disbursement procedures, and have basic knowledge or FirstBank’s loan file flow.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

+ Ability to gather and organize required loan information in order to setup or disburse loans.

+ Perform entry writing for loan files- Prepare and balance transaction tickets and entries to the general ledger.

+ Loan Disbursement- Review loan disbursement sheet and enter information to create wires and cashier’s checks in order to submit them for approval.

+ Loan Setup- Manually input loan information into FirstBank’s servicing system.

+ Maintenance- Perform loan file maintenance as needed and verify loan maintenance utilizing the proper source documents.

+ Reports- Review, monitor and follow-up on daily reconciliation reports.

+ Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

+ Understand and comply with all provisions of the Safety in the Workplace policySalary commensurate with experience.


Minimum Qualifications of Position

+ Entry level position

Preferred Qualifications of Position

+ Prior loan experience is preferred but not required

+ Ability to comprehend and perform basic math calculations

Knowledge and Skills

+ Ability to read, listen, comprehend and communicate information in a clear and concise manner.

+ Ability to use a computer with experience in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel and Outlook).

+ Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.

+ Must be able to work in a team environment and work successfully with coworkers.

+ Ability to learn and comply with applicable regulation or bank policies

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

Work is performed in an office environment with moderate noise levels and light to heavy traffic. An individual in this position:

+ Frequently remains stationary throughout a typical business day

+ Frequently operates a computer and other office machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer

+ Occasionally moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, and other rooms

+ Occasionally positions self to access drawers and shelves of various heights

+ Frequently reaches for and handles paperwork and files

+ Constantly communicates with customers, coworkers, and management in-person and on the phone

+ Must be able to exchange accurate information
