Kimley-Horn is conducting a search for an enthusiastic and well-qualified, Landscape Architect to join our busy Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning/Urban Design Practice in our Denver, Colorado office. Responsibilities include:

* Ability to liaise with public and private sector clients, maintain client relationships, manage projects and mentor staff

* Business development and marketing of clients including networking, active participation in professional development, presenting work professional organizations, writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets for projected work

* Work directly with clients to advance master plans/ small area/corridor plans, develop site plans, manage the entitlement processes, and implement improvements

* Provide design, project, and task management leadership to production teams, including Young Professionals

Position Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree in a design profession (Landscape Architecture, Architecture, engineering, fine arts)

* Master's Degree in a planning or design profession (Landscape Architecture, Architecture, urban design, planning), desired

* 3-5+ years of experience as a landscape architect in Colorado, with a strong focus on public sector projects \

* Experience in Parks and Recreation projects

* Excellent written, and oral communication skills

* Positive attitude and a strong work ethic

* Experience in Urban Planning/Urban Design

* Demonstrated ability to manage projects profitably

* Ability to manage multiple priorities

* AutoCAD, and Microsoft (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) skills

* Working knowledge of graphic software programs (Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Lumion) Professional

Registration: PLA – Professional Landscape Architect, registered in CO (Will consider a strong candidate who is able to obtain registration within 6 months)
