Overview

We are seeking an Alternative Asset Specialist for our Operations Team in Denver. The ideal candidate should have previous experience as a mortgage loan processor, mortgage title experience or financial services experience with an efficiencies on real estate documents/processing. The Alternative Asset Specialist will demonstrate the ability to interpret legal documents, work well under pressure, able to adhere to critical deadlines, a strong attention to detail, provide stellar customer service, excellent written and oral communication skills and work well in a fast paced team environment. Other responsibilities may arise as part of our ever-evolving work environment and or client requirements.

Responsibilities

* Reviews client submitted documents to ensure that the information is complete and in accordance with Company policies. Consults with clients and/or professionals as necessary to provide adequate information in order to facilitate their investments.

* Interpret investment documentation pertaining to investment structure for promissory note and real estate investments. Communicates with clients, attorneys and mortgage brokers.

* Work directly with other departments' staff, outside business partners and with clients to research inquires and maintain service levels.

* Respond clearly and concisely to client questions, resolving appropriate client issues or problems quickly and effectively.

* Other special research requests and/or projects as directed.

* Actively looking for ways to improve existing processes and provide suggestions for enhanced efficiency.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree from four-year college preferred; or 1-2 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Effective oral and written communication skills.

* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret legal documents and handle challenging correspondence with clients, and professionals.

* Strong computer/technical skills required. Ability to use all Microsoft Office software including: Word, Excel and Google.

* Must be able to work well under pressure.

* Must be able to plan, organize, multi-task and communicate to other internal departments.

* Previous experience reviewing legal documents including: Real Estate Purchase and Sale Documents, Lender Purchase and Payoff Documents, Default and Foreclosures a plus

* Must be able to contribute to the success of the team.

* Strong desire to learn with a "can do" attitude.
