Associate Billing Analyst

Overview

The Associate Billing Analyst will support the end- to-end billing process with a focus on enhancing and streamlining all billing related activities. Position will be instrumental in the creation and implementation of policies, procedures and metrics for the department. Collaborate with business users, BSA's, and IT, to facilitate report creation and enhancements. Ensure reporting is relevant, meaningful, efficient, to accelerate decision-making. The position requires an individual who possesses critical thinking skills, can support constant change, is flexible, and adapts to an evolving fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

* Facilitate daily invoicing of Sunrun's customer portfolio.

* Act as an information resource for internal and external customers by responding to and resolving inquiries concerning all billing processes and documentation.

* Work with the various teams to address tickets in the billing support ticketing system to ensure all billing discrepancies are resolved within established timelines.

* Daily operational tracking related to billing and associated controls to verify data integrity and eliminate billing errors, including investigation and resolution of any variances.

* Ensure all invoices updates to the system are accurate by proofing and auditing.

* Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of customer account reconciliations and reporting.

* Create and test new processes and reports to improve process workflows.

* Participates in the daily/monthly production cycles of all billing processes.

* Review billing processes for efficiency and recommend changes and improvements.

* Update desk procedures to ensure all procedural steps are documented.

* Perform other related duties and assist with special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

* Minimum 3 years of billing, accounts receivable, and reporting experience required.

* Knowledge of accounting/financial principles and practices required.

* Ability to function efficiently in a fast paced, team oriented work environment.

* Ability to identify problems, process resolution and implement action or solution timely.

* Working knowledge of CRM applications, preferably Salesforce.

* Advanced Excel knowledge is required.

* Oracle experience strongly preferred.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Customer service and time management skills.
