Overview

We are seeking several Contract Aircraft Technicians and Contract Shop Fabricators to join our team. These positions will be onsite in our Centennial, Colorado facility; expected term through November- July 2020.

As an Aircraft Tech, you will be responsible for systems installation and integration for XB-1, the first independently developed supersonic jet and history's fastest civil aircraft. Tasks could include landing gear installation, flight controls installation and rigging, hydraulic system installation, ECS system installation, cockpit systems integration, and various other component or systems installations.

Qualifications - Aircraft Technician
- Great mechanical aptitude
- Experience installing and maintaining aircraft systems
- Drawing interpretation and inspection of components to troubleshoot assembly process
- Ability to use basic measuring tools, tape measure, caliper, scales
- A&P certification desired
- High school diploma or equivalent


As a Shop Fabrication Technician tasks include composite fabrication and structural bonding, drilling composites, liquid shimming of metallic parts, and the fabrication of test articles for structural and systems testing. 

Qualifications - Shop Fabrication Technicians
- Great mechanical aptitude
- Laser tracking used as a tool for build of assemblies
- A&P systems with strong knowledge of composite assembly
- Strong composite bonding knowledge
- Bond prep composite structure experience
-A&P certification desired
- High school diploma or equivalent

For both roles it would be great if had....
- Hydraulic tube bending and installation experience
- Proficiency using metalworking tools such as milling machines, lathes, grinders, etc
