Denver's Parks and Recreation Department boasts one of the most expansive and diverse park systems in the Rocky Mountain West offering: more than 350 urban parks and parkways, 7 golf courses, one of the largest skate parks in the region, 14,000 acres of mountain parks, the Buffalo Bill Museum and bison herd, and a Ropes Challenge Course. About Our Job

Our Central Park Recreation Center has an opening for an Administrative Support Assistant IV to support the administrative needs of our expansive facility. This Administrative Support Assistant IV will provide a wide variety of support administrative functions while providing exceptional customer service to the Center's patrons.

Job Duties Include:

* Assisting the Center Supervisor and Coordinators in managing administrative, bookkeeping, and cashiering tasks

* Preparing and processing vouchers, invoices, and requisitions with accuracy and discretion

* Managing and tracking various documents, files, records, budget-related documents, and spreadsheets

* Providing the public with general and/or explanatory information regarding facility equipment, programs, rentals, rules and policies

* Compiling information and generating reports to support Center functions and operations

* Interacting professionally, courteously, and accurately with a high volume of customers in person and by phone and email

* Performing other related duties as assigned

About You

We are looking for an organized and confident professional with proven customer service as well as strong oral and written communication skills. In addition, our ideal candidate will possess the following:

* Experience working for a customer service and/or recreation setting

* Is bilingual in English and Spanish (speak, write, and read)

* Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, ActiveNet, and/or has knowledge of other databases

* Three years of clerical experience

Hiring Range: $17.88 - $21.99
