Job Summary

Mercer Advisors is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support our Family Wealth Services group in Denver. CO. This role will provide dedicated support to the estate planning team within our Family Office, while managing a wide range of administrative tasks to optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of our team.

The Administrative Assistant must be organized, flexible, and enjoy the administrative challenges of managing a fast-paced and dynamic team. Professional verbal and written communications skills and attention to detail are a must. The ideal candidate should be resourceful, proactive and efficient while maintaining an approachable and professional presence to both internal and external contacts.

Essential Job Functions for the Administrative Assistant will include:

* Completing a broad variety of administrative tasks, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, answering phones, shipping, scanning, assembling client documentation, and proof reading documents

* Communicating professionally with internal financial advisor teams and external clients

* Prioritizing conflicting needs, handling matters expeditiously, proactively, and following through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures

* Demonstrating professionalism, confidentiality, communication, and interpersonal skills in an ever-changing work environment

* Managing a variety of special projects for the Director, some of which will have an organizational impact

* Coordinating referrals into our estate planning department from financial advisors

* Other duties as needed

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

* Experience or willingness to work with high-level, busy professionals

* 1 year prior administrative support experience preferred

* Outstanding communication and organizational skills

* Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; Salesforce experience is a plus

* Excellent customer service skills; customer-service oriented

* Enjoy being part of a team

* Able to maintain confidentiality with all matters

* Have a can-do, positive attitude

* Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a busy environment

Education:

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM

Working Conditions:Professional office environment, daytime hours, working inside, standing, and sitting, will be assigned to a work station, no heavy lifting over 10 lbs.
