Physical Security Manager

Job Summary

Responsible for managing security system projects to meet business requirements. Designs, coordinates, and implements technological and architectural solutions to protect Company assets. Translates security requirements, ensures security system compliance, develops and executes strategies, and works with IT to maintain security systems and ensure systems are not prone to cyber attacks. Monitors central alarm and temperature systems. Partners with various stakeholders such as vendors, IT and Facilities. Responsible for start-to-end project management, including budgeting, logistics, and execution.

Basic Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree and at least 2 years of professional experience in the public or private sector OR a High School Diploma/GED and at least 4 years of professional experience in the public or private sector.

* Willing to travel up to 15% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications

* At least 1 year of cross-functional team leadership experience.

* Bachelor's Degree in related field.

* At least 4 years of experience providing technical support on video and physical access control or similar systems.

* Experience implementing physical security systems, including analog and IP video, intrusion detection and access control systems.

* Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects or tasks with varying completion dates.

* Experience building and maintaining relationships within a team and with individuals at all levels of the organization.

* Experience working in a team environment, providing support, and coaching to team peers.

* Experience providing customer service and technical support on systems to internal and external customers.

* Experience in preparing written business communication.

* Experience in business applications and infrastructure technical support.

* Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using wrap text, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling)

* Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word (inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers and tables and/or adjusting table columns)

* Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (applying a theme, formatting, character spacing, inserting a picture, changing slide layout and theme colors, adding transitions, customizing slide numbers, changing chart style and/or formatting font)

* Experience in the use of Remedy or similar trouble ticket systems.
