Sales-Care Transition Coord

Use your sales skills to do more than sell a product—be part of a healthcare team! The person in this position will report to the AVP of Business Development.

Duties include:

* Developing and maintaining community relationships in the designated area to promote home care and hospice services

* Serving as a resource and providing information and education to referral sources, potential referral sources and the community

* Meeting with referring physicians and referral sources to ensure customer satisfaction

* Educating referral sources about available home care services

RequirementsThis position requires someone with established contacts in the healthcare community of the designated area.

Other job requirements include:

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing or other related degree such as Nursing or Social Work

* At least one year of community relations or community education experience

* Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing

* Current knowledge of Medicare and private insurance coverage guidelines

* Previous sales experience highly desired

* Respecting the patient's privacy and maintaining confidentiality

* Current Alabama driver's license and automobile liability insurance
