Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) has an ambitious agenda for the next five years, focused on expanding its research capabilities, graduate programs, and facilities and recruiting highly-talented faculty. ERAU strives to expand its presence in groundbreaking aerospace/aviation research and to be recognized globally in select signature areas while growing its discovery-driven undergraduate programs. In support of this agenda, multiple Presidential Fellow (i.e. distinguished faculty) positions will be filled.
ERAU is seeking to recruit several Presidential Fellows, i.e. faculty with national recognition in the areas of Aviation Cyber Security, Aviation Data Science and Business Analytics, Flight Research, Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and Autonomous Systems. It is expected that candidates for these positions will have an excellent publication record, a record of sustained research excellence, and be nationally renowned. They should be experienced in supervising doctoral students, providing leadership in funded research, and building new (or augmenting existing) University research programs. The positions are open for all departments on all ERAU campuses, but the candidates should indicate their preferences. The appointments come with tenure and will be available as early as January 2020.
