Guest Services Recruiting Crew Chief:

The Guest Services Recruiting Crew Chief is an integral part of the Guest Services Department at Daytona International Speedway. This position will oversee the hiring, training and retention of our seasonal Fan Crew as well as Daytona G.I.V.E.S. groups. This is a seasonal position and the hours will vary depending on the time of year.

Responsibilities:

* Hiring Events:

o Coordinate, advertise and oversee

o Conduct interview training for hiring seasonal staff

o Calculate hiring event statistics

* Manage "Refer a Friend" program for all Guest Services departments

* New Hire Paperwork:

o Coordinate, oversee, review and submit all paperwork to Payroll Services

* Attend local job fairs to recruit seasonal Fan Crew

* Daytona G.I.V.E.S. Recruitment:

o Establish relationships with local non-profit organizations

o Meet with potential groups about getting involved in the program

o Implement creative ideas to recruit and continue to grow the program

o Keep contact with current groups to increase retention rate during non-event times

o Serve as point of contact for the groups while they are working

o Work closely with the Coordinator, Recruiting on all paperwork, contracts and insurance requirements

o Coordinate the annual Daytona G.I.V.E.S. open house

* Oversee the quarterly Fan Crew Newsletter

Requirements:

* Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products

* Must be comfortable with public speaking

* Must be friendly, enthusiastic, personable and reliable

* Customer service experience preferred

* Background in Human Resources or Recruiting preferred

* Excellent communication skills

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

* Ability to work outside in variable seasonal weather conditions

* Must be able to work nights, weekend and holidays as assigned
