The primary purpose of this position is to support the FSO in the maintenance and management of all classified activities at WSRI.

Reporting to the Director of Security & IT, this position is responsible for all aspects of industrial security compliance including shipping & receiving, escorting of uncleared personnel, document accountability, security training education awareness training and facility accreditation documentation.

Minimum Qualifications

* Associate's degree in Business Administration, Security Management or a related discipline preferred.

* Hold a TOP SECRET Clearance with ability to o obtain a TS/SCI clearance.

* 1+ years of security administration.

* Demonstrated knowledge of the DOD security administration, business management.

* Demonstrated ability to complete difficult assignments on schedule with high quality products.

* Understanding of DoDM 5220.22.

* Strong organizational skills needed to handle multiple task/projects and to work independently.

* Demonstrated ability to analyze problems for root cause and implement corrective action.

* Effective written and oral communication skills coupled with the ability to work well with all levels of staff and managers.

* Experience with word processing, electronic spreadsheet (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).

* Demonstrated ability to comprehensively grasp big picture expectations within everyday activities is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with the following:

* Visitor control and escorting

* Classified Document accountability, control and marking.

* Joint Personnel Adjudicative System (JPAS) account management.

* Communications Security (COMSEC) account management and inventory.

* Annual self-inspections.

* Security awareness and education.

Essential Functions and percent of time:

30% Responsible for classified material control including document accountability, wrapping and packaging, receipt and dispatch records and classified material marking.

20% Responsible for facility accreditation documentation generation and maintenance

20% Develop and maintain Security Training Education and Awareness documentation including briefings

20% Manage access to classified facilities and maintain locks and alarms

10% Monitor JPAS for personnel security actions and take necessary steps to ensure clearances are processed and maintained

Special Contract terms and conditions of employment apply. Length of contract is one year, renewable, contingent upon funding.
