Responsibilities

* Ensure cyber security and resiliency is incorporated in the weapons systems design process via the Systems Engineering (SE) process.

* Support development of SSE artifacts and acquisition templates for inclusion in SE processes.

* Assist in the development of requirements to help USAF programs interpret and scope system security, acquisition security, and cybersecurity and resilience requirements.

* Leverage NIST security controls, FAA direction, and other inputs to inform system security requirements.

* Perform technical analyses, conduct research, and use technical management principles to assess impacts to DoD and USAF systems engineering and acquisition policies and processes; and provide recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications

* Technical Bachelor's degree preferred but not required in an IT-related field (e.g., cybersecurity, computer science, computer engineering)

* Professional certifications - IAT Level II compliance required. In addition, one or more of the following highly desired:

* Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

* Certified Network Engineer (CCNE)

* Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

* Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)

* Certified Ethical hacker (CEH)

* Experience with/knowledge of:

* DoD8570 level II

* Cyber systems development and sustainment

* Network protection, attack, and exploitation

* Integration and test for DoD & USAF systems

* DoD, USAF, and interagency information assurance requirements

* DoD, USAF, and interagency security accreditation procedures
