We are looking for a visual designer with strong user interface skills to join our marketing team. This role will be responsible for establishing and implementing the look and feel of Ingersoll Rand corporate digital assets including website, intranet and related assets.

You will work within Ingersoll Rand brand standards to create layouts that reinforce our brand's style and voice across visual touchpoints. You will act as a strategic adviser to agency partners, functional and strategic business unit marketing teams on select projects such as websites and mobile app design, video, executive communications, and marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities:

* Establish the look and feel for various interfaces, including websites, mobile devices, apps, and kiosks

* Generate clear ideas, concepts and design of creative assets from beginning to end

* Design user-centered interaction models, wireframes or screen mockups

* Create and guide the development of digital experiences that are compelling, continuous and consistent across devices and channels

* Design digital creative assets and infographics for corporate properties and initiatives, social channels and internally

* Provide support on data visualization projects for Strategic Marketing team members

* Create and organize production assets

* Ensure creative and websites/apps are optimized for different devices — tablet, mobile and web

* Source creative assets (stock photos and video footage) to be used across digital properties and channels

* Contribute to the creation, organization and governance of a component library, a collection of digital building blocks

* Develop email marketing items and interactive event materials

* Manage multiple projects while effectively handling timelines and expectations

* Provide creative guidance and consultation to business and function stakeholders

* Monitor key trends in design, identify opportunities and implement new approaches that enhance the company's capabilities and effectiveness

Requirements:

* Minimum 3 years' experience with user experience, interaction, and visual design

* BA/BS or higher in web design, graphic design, user interface design or a related discipline

* Strong grasp of UX/UI principles

* A solid foundation in typography, layout and design

* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) and PowerPoint

* Experience designing both websites and interactive web applications

* Ability to create wireframes and lightweight functional prototypes

* Deep understanding of and high degree of empathy for the customer experience, and ability to translate customer ideas into story boards/wireframes/prototypes

* Experience with a variety of content and digital asset management platforms

* Experience working closely with marketing communications teams and software engineers

* A basic understanding of coding and web development technologies

* Analytical and problem-solving skills

* Agile and Scrum methodology experience strongly preferred

* Strong collaboration skills and ability to work well in teams

* Positive attitude and willingness to be both tactical and strategic

* Strong detail orientation and organization, including the ability to prioritize tasks, communicate progress and meet deadlines

* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and timelines with minimal supervision
