Position Summary:

This position will be responsible for Reimaging, virus scanning, Firmware updates, transportable license management and functionally testing selected models of test and measurement equipment. Also perform all warehouse duties associated within the business as needed. The position requires high volume production, high quality, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize daily work. To be successful in this role, the candidate must have displayed exemplary past performance, show a mechanical aptitude and have an insatiable desire to learn. The successful candidate must have a working knowledge of LEAN and a desire to continually improve processes.

Duties/Responsibilities of Position:

* Virus Scanning and re-imaging of returned assets.

* Removal, and storage of transportable licenses.

* Check current equipment using written procedures.

* Assist with customer service calls as required.

* Process rental orders and configure instrument equipment according to laboratory procedures, company standards and customer requirements.

* Assure equipment is cleaned and accessorized correctly.

* Assure maintenance of clean and orderly lab area and assist as required with facility maintenance. Perform daily 6S audits.

* Work on assigned projects with minimal supervision; making decisions within established guidelines and policies.

* Perform warehouse duties as needed.

* Ability to work in a team environment

* Participate in Lean events

Position Specific Competencies/Skills Required:

* Knowledge of MS Office, Windows XP and Windows 7

* Understanding of LEAN concepts

Experience/Education Required/Desired:

* High School Diploma or GED equivalent

* Working knowledge of automated inventory and shipping systems

* Knowledge in the theory of operation, application and maintenance of electronic products is a definite plus

* Exemplary past work performance

Special Considerations:

* General warehouse/operation conditions

* Must be able to repeatedly lift over 35-50 pounds

* Long periods of standing

* Second Shift and overtime may be required.
