Job Title: Senior Global Creative & Design Director, Adult & Feminine Care

ROLE SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Global Sector Leader, Adult & Feminine Care (GSL AFC) the Global Creative & Design Director leads the Creative & Design team, which comprises talent from Brand Design and Integrated Marketing, to elevate our products and brands to desired consumer experiences. In support of driving growth in both net sales and brand equity, the incumbent is accountable to deliver a desired consumer experience across touchpoints for Adult & Feminine Care.

The incumbent must be curious about consumers and their behavior. They must be able to translate consumer insights into desired brand experiences that resonate across touchpoints. This role directs the development of Big Ideas by designing and managing the development process and delivering capabilities in the area of strategic and creative development of ideas, program execution and implementation, and financial management and tracking of internal and agency / vendor resources and costs. Incumbent must also be able to lead and direct Brand Design efforts across channels including packaging and all commercial program touchpoints to ensure the integrity of our brand equity.

Key Customers include Regional Presidents, KCNA Presidents, Global Sector Leader (GSL) and Regional Sector Leaders (RSL), Regional Marketing teams, Local Marketing Leaders and external Creative Agencies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage and direct Big Ideas and Brand Design for designated sector in support of delivering bolder promises to our consumers.

* Lead the development of a global brand ideas and work with RSLs and Lead Markets on regional execution for the sector across all touchpoints to reflect key business and brand strategies and priorities.

* Deliver on both top line – net sales and bottom line – profit growth by creating desired experiences that consumers irrationally want

* Accountable for the process and capabilities required to ensure alignment around business and brand building objectives for sector (including consumer, shopper and customer) to develop recommendations for Big Idea Development (Ideas/Design/Execution) and Brand Design (Packaging/Product/Program Design)

* Ensure world class operations and execution of plans, driving unparalleled effectiveness, efficiency, and precision in budgeting and reporting of the A&CP investment.

* Manage all agency relationships on assigned brands ensuring a high level of collaboration and efficiency, including SOW development and performance management.

* Establish and implement global brand foundational tools, budgeting and reporting of the A&CP investment and standard ways of working to deliver desired consumer experiences efficiently and effectively.

* Promote channel-agnostic thinking and leadership to identify most applicable and effective consumer/shopper/customer touchpoints.

Manage, direct and motivate the Creative & Design team to ensure optimal Big Idea Development and Brand Design development for the sector:

* Ensure Team members are trained in key areas-i.e. idea development, idea execution, design, digital, packaging, retail.

* Develop and manage Creative & Design teamwork/resource plan, plan development and daily work direction, team performance and career development.

* Empower the team to show (not tell) how Creative, Content and Brand Design can collectively drive a stronger Consumer Experience that delivers value to our consumers, our customers / retailers and our Brands.

* Organize and prioritize Creative & Design team's capabilities to ensure we are meeting regional and local business requirements, consumer segment needs, customer / retailer needs, and delivering executional excellence.

* Recruit, Retain and Develop internal Design and Creative talent and external Agency Partners to position Kimberly-Clark as a destination for top talent.

* Foster and nurture a culture of accountability and collaboration that promotes education and awareness of the Creative & Design team with other functions in Kimberly-Clark.

* Lead, coach, and mentor global and regional teams by training and educating them in key skills in this rapidly evolving industry capability of Design, Content and Creative. It will be immensely important that these Senior Directors / Directors build capability in a way that will advantage KC vs. the industry.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelor's Degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, Design or similar Marketing discipline.

* Minimum of 15 years industry experience with ability to effectively manage and develop creative teams.

* Excellent leadership and communication skills.

* Strong understanding of Brand development and multichannel marketing concepts.

* Ability to handle multiple projects, delegate and meet rigorous deadlines.

* Strong critical thinking, stakeholder management and presentation skills.

* Team player able to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.

* Conceptual thinker with a strong business sense.

* Background in consumer products and a variety of product categories or industries.

* Global experience preferred.

* Willingness to travel up to 15-20% of scheduled work time.
