Job Purpose: Test IT functionalities designed for the Web and/or AS/400; write Business Requirement Documents for projects.

Results Expected and Duties Performed

50%

Ensure quality IT solutions by performing a variety of tests and re-tests on developed software in order to verify items are working as requested by the internal customer.

Gather information on desired outcomes by researching and meeting with requestor to determine how systems should operate

Perform User Acceptance Tests by developing various Quality Assurance Processes which include conducting audits, analyzing and verifying documentation and reviewing process changes; Working with system developers to solve problems quickly and effectively.

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree preferred

Experience: Basic understanding and an entry level participation in QA Testing is required

Skills and Abilities: Must have previous troubleshooting skills; Must have previous Auto Insurance experience; Must Have Guidewire claims system knowledge; must have excellent written and oral communication skills; detail oriented, team player, organizational skills, excellent time management skills; must have intermediate to advanced database, spreadsheet, word processing software to prepare statistical and written reports for management.

Decision Making: Normally follows established steps and procedures, but may make some alterations and/or select specific steps from established options; may develop options by which work can be accomplished.
