Experience and Education

Master's degree - derived for an accredited AR- C PA program. Texas Physician Assistant License - temporary acceptable for new graduates until permanent license is issued upon receipt of passing Physician Assistant National Certifying Examinations Scores within one year of hire. No experience required.

Job Duties

________________________________________

* Observation and interaction with facility in various sub specializations within the department in both inpatient and outpatient areas designed to increase knowledge and diagnostic and technical skills sets.

* Research into current and emerging treatments and methodologies for diseases within specialty.

* May be involved with various faculty on specific research projects.

* Assists department physicians in treatment of patients through inpatient consults and rounding, first assisting with surgical procedures, and/or treatment of patients in and ambulatory setting.

* Works under the direct supervision of faculty physicians.

* Performs other duties as assigned.
