Inside Sales-Customer Care Representative

POSITION OVERVIEW

Inside Sales/ Customer Care Call Center Agents are responsible for taking inbound customer calls to place and resolve orders for doors and building products. Applicants should have experience in call center environment, either in customer service or inside sales, making and taking calls to place orders, resolve issues and ensure on-time delivery with exceptional service. Duties include but are not limited to creating quotations, order entry, providing sales and product information, upselling, claim management and resolution and queue management, special projects and order quality. Applicants with experience in the millwork, door, building materials or construction industries are preferred. This is a small team with a fast pace, always day-shift. Bilingual not necessary but encouraged to apply.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

* Works with customers to convert inbound inquiries into actual sales by taking inbound calls.

* Makes daily call outs on backorder report keeping notes in the system- not cold calls or direct sales

* Communicates with customers via email, saves documentation for peers to service that account

* Overcomes technical and business objections for prospective customers.

* Emphasizes product features and benefits, quotes prices, and prepares sales orders for orders obtained

* Tracks orders entered, handles shipping problems proactively.

* Performs order entry with complete accuracy and timeliness

* Supports outside sales representatives in the field to complete quality orders and satisfy or de-escalate customers

* Estimates date of delivery to customer based on product knowledge, order processing, production, and delivery schedules.

* Prepares reports of business transactions.

* Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database.

* Investigates and resolves customer problems.

* Builds and maintains customer relationships.

* Communicates with buyers on product shortages or quality issues.

* Supports teamwork throughout the team.

* Performs miscellaneous assignments and special projects as required by supervisor.

* Implements and complies with required company policies and procedures.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

* Associate's Degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training in an inbound or inside sales environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Applicants must have a background in the millwork, door industry, building materials, or construction industry.

* Microsoft Suite' Word, Outlook, Excel (Intermediate and Advanced).

* Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

* Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and the general public.

* Ability to apply concepts such as discounts, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. The ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

* Ability to define problems; collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
