Interested in helping educators improve their schools and districts? In this role you will have the opportunity to match educators with Edmentum solutions and services to help their students succeed. Connecting with educators is done through a mix of both inbound and outbound efforts (phone calls, emails, chats, etc.). By creating personalized campaigns that help connect with Educators in unique ways you will help drive interest and demand for Edmentum solutions. These campaigns will be digitally focused but use a mix of methods to create interest – creating emails, landing pages, social, advertising, calling and more. You will have the opportunity to take a consultative approach when speaking with educators about their needs, challenges, budgets, timeline, etc. Once interest is created you will then connect educators with their internal partners to continue supporting them through their decision making process.

Here's what you'll do:

  • Maintain an “Educator First” mindset in all that you do
  • Help to create and execute targeted marketing campaigns executing across channels from email, web, social, advertising and content creation
  • Create strong partnerships across sales, marketing, and other internal partners
  • Analyze project results, identify trends, re-prioritize and refine processes as needed to achieve desired results
  • Stay up to date on the latest digital marketing, edtech, and education industry trends
  • Conduct research on organizations and contacts to help drive new leads and sales opportunities
  • Follow up with prospects, qualify leads, and help move leads into the sales funnel
  • Effectively generate and qualify prospective customers through outbound & inbound calling
  • Introduce and demonstrate the value of Edmentum’s solutions
  • Uncover needs and determine, in consultation with the prospect, the best solutions for each account; complete initial needs analysis
  • Demonstrate a willingness to make outbound cold calls and send follow up emails
  • Utilize exceptional time management skills and attention to detail
  • Maintain strong customer relationships with our customer base of educators, administrators and parents
  • Utilize Salesforce.com to accurately and effectively track activity; update lead, account, and opportunity information
  • Ensure that Salesforce.com reports are monitored daily to ensure goal tracking
  • Accurately and effectively communicate prequalification, contact, and account information to sales representatives

Additional preferred qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Associate’s degree in marketing, advertising, journalism, or similar field
  • Experience in a sales, demand, or lead generation type role
  • Experience creating high-impact and compelling email campaigns
  • Experience with marketing automation or ABM platforms, Marketo or Demandbase a plus
  • Experience delivering marketing analytics & reporting
  • Experience with product & solutions marketing
  • Experience in a customer focused, account management, revenue driven environment
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or equivalent CRM solution
  • Experience with business software applications including MS Outlook and virtual communication tools
