BASIC FUNCTION:

In this key role, you will bring exceptional leadership and influencing capabilities along with the ability to design and lead the strategy of Atmos' Total Reward programs including pension and retirement medical. The preferred candidate will have experience streamlining and improving processes by using data to help guide/influence decisions along with experience managing large scale projects. The ideal candidate will also have knowledge and experience in managing benefit programs, vendor management, supporting multiple divisions and locations, collaborating with HR divisional leaders and experience presenting to Sr. Management is also preferred. The position is responsible for ensuring both financial and administrative operations of the health & welfare benefits programs are being fully executed as designed and for the development of plan design and future year strategies.

PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provides leadership in the development, administration, implementation and communication of enterprise-wide guidelines, policies, procedures and programs related to:

* Health and Welfare Plans

* Qualified Retirement/Savings Plans

* Nonqualified Plans

* Workers' Compensation

* Disability and Life Insurance Plans

2. Provides counsel, advice and recommendations to senior leadership consistent with company policy/practice, and Federal and state laws/regulations. May serve as a company representative interacting with regulatory authorities and public officials.

3. Oversees the Company's compliance with accounting, legal and regulatory requirements associated with health/welfare/disability/life plans.

4. Develops and monitors functional area budgets to ensure efficient utilization of resources. Plans and directs the achievement of area goals and objectives within established company policies.

5. Maintains adequate staffing levels to ensure proper administration of activities. Selects, develops, trains, motivates and evaluates the performance of assigned employees.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field, ten years related experience in benefit plan administration including five years in a supervisory capacity, or equivalent.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

Requires the ability to communicate, persuade and/or influence internal and/or external customers and senior management on matters of a technical and/or complex nature.

NUMERIC SKILLS:

Requires the ability to perform analyses involving ratios, percentages and simple statistical methods.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Requires working knowledge of various software applications to create documents, reports and/or graphics.

WORK CONDITIONS:

Works in an office environment.

Requires occasionally performing activities including, but not limited to, bending, stooping, grasping, reaching, twisting, turning and/or lifting.
