Business Process Development (Compliance) Specialist

Copart is looking for a Business Process Development (Compliance) Specialist for our Copart offices located in Dallas, TX. This position will be reporting to the Business Process Development Manager and will be responsible for creating and modifying standard operating procedures, conducting audits to measure adherence to business processes, and giving effective feedback to field offices to supply areas of opportunity for improvement.

Individuals in the role will provide support to internal customers regarding compliance to performance standards, best practices, routine inquiries, and process improvement. Individuals will also help to pre-plan the acquisitions of existing auto auctions both domestically and internationally. The Business Support Specialist will provide training on technical and on other aspects of the business. Some travel (up to three weeks at one time) may be required to support the integration of acquired facilities or the opening of new facilities.

This position will assist in duties including, but not limited to, the following:

* Review the performance of business units regarding compliance to time standards, business requirements, and documentation

* Review workflow to analyze root causes of bottlenecks, and other barriers to effectiveness and efficiency

* Perform the SQR (System Quality Reviews)

* Create and distribute weekly communication to internal customers with policy and procedure updates, as well as SharePoint blog posts and other scheduled updates

* Assist in the creation of training materials for field operations as needed

* Handle all business integrations and acquisitions domestically, and assist the Global Business team internationally as needed

* Will work on multiple projects as assigned by VP of Corporate Operations and the COO

* Other duties as assigned

* Must have 1+ years experience in a related role

* Ability to work effectively with multiple lines of business and technical teams

* The individual must be comfortable adapting to change.

* Flexibility regarding changes in project requirements and shifting priorities

* Work independently with minimal guidance & supervision.

* Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows Outlook and Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel

* Ability to travel up to 10% per year

* Detail-oriented and organized with strong multitasking and time-management skills

* Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

* College education preferred

* Previous Team Leadership a plus
