The LOA Administrator provides full cycle leave administration and coordination of Freeman's FMLA and ADAAA cases. Other leave programs and benefits administration responsibilities may be included. Ongoing responsibilities include ensuring compliance with related regulatory laws and requirements, in addition to creating relevant training and educational materials for supervisors and employees.

Additional Duties include:

* Coordinates and administers activities and duties related to employee Family Medical Leave, Medical Leave of Absence and return-to-work with non-occupational and occupational injuries or illness ensuring compliance with Freeman policies and federal and state leave regulations

* Provides instruction, guidance and excellent customer service to employees, managers and human resources professionals regarding the various leave of absence policies, interactive dialog process, and return to work efforts

* Assist with processing HR Shared Services requests

* Working in an HR Operations team you will share responsibilities evenly and support other members with their activities, covering for absence and workload fluctuations

* Ensures the integration of various leave of absence programs are implemented as needed and provided in a timely manner in accordance with Freeman policies

* Manage the interactive dialog process with employees, managers, vendors, and key HR personnel to determine appropriate reasonable accommodations

* Create and maintain accurate leave and accommodation files. Monitor leave usage on a regular basis, making sure any adjustments are entered into HRIS, communicated to appropriate departments (Benefits, Payroll, etc.)

* Support HR Shared Services Team with ad-hoc project and process improvement work

* Respond to and resolve inbound calls and emails from both internal and external customers, and assist with all inquiries and requests utilizing the HR Shared Services Tools and processes

* Track accommodations made for employees within Freeman

* Perform other projects and duties as assigned



* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, a minimum of 2 years of related employee benefits/leave administration experience.


* Minimum of 2 years of related employee benefits/leave administration experience

* Extensive knowledge of state and federal FMLA regulations

* High level of integrity, empathy, and performance

* Ability to maintain confidentiality; handle sensitive employee data and exercise discretion

* Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate with employees at all levels

* Excellent organizational skills; must be able to prioritize, multitask and manage project deadlines

* Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
