Responsibilities

He or she shall provide technical, fabrication, functional, and administrative support for the AN/SPS-40, AN/SPS-67(V)3, AN/SPS-67(V)1, AN/SPS-49, AN/SPS-55, and the 2F COG Radar components.

The main focus of this position is the management of Radar Restoration Inventory Control Room.This position also includes transport, shipping, storage, cleaning and demilitarization of equipment, inventory management and periodic inventory checks on Government equipment, assets, and hazmat as requested. Candidate shall provide material and inventory support for radar systems and components and for microwave and solid state devices. He or she shall respond to fleet issues, both Casualty Reports (CASREP) and NON-CASREP requests, by locating and preparing material and assets for shipment from government inventory. Candidate will prepare equipment for shipping to meet Fleet requirements and/or to fulfill equipment needs during installation of engineering changes; unpack, inspect, deliver, relocate, store, and dismantle assets and equipment in designated locations in support of the test and repair processes performed. He or she will provide program support and process control services for the maintenance and inventory control of incoming material and equipment by visually inspecting and ensuring receipt documents are in accordance with inspection and acceptance criteria. And candidate shall deliver properly inspected packages and equipment to designated personnel or locations and obtain appropriate signage for receipt of material from government personnel.

Qualifications

A minimum of three years related experience is required. Associate's Degree is required.

Inventory Control Room experience a plus

Basic understanding of SWMS is required.
