St. Charles Community College is located just west of St. Louis, nestled in the heart of growing St. Charles County. Established in 1986, SCC is a public, comprehensive two-year community college offering associate degrees and certificate programs in the arts, business, sciences and career-technical fields. SCC also provides workforce training and community-based personal and professional development as well as cultural, recreational and entertainment opportunities.
SCC invites qualified candidates to apply for our part-time faculty position to teach Introduction to Early Childhood Education; and Infant and Toddler Development and Curriculum this upcoming spring 2019 semester. Courses may be daytime or evening depending on the need. Part-time appointments made on a semester-by-semester (as needed) basis.

Qualifications: Master's degree in Child Development, Children and Family Studies, Early Childhood Education, or related field required. Must be knowledgeable in developmentally appropriate practice and in current trends in early education. Experience in early learning programs &/or college level teaching experience in the field preferred. Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population of faculty, staff, and students is important. Must be available to teach evenings. Availability during the day a plus.
