IT Finance Budgeting Analyst

Responsible for forecasting, annual budget process, and managing the actual spend for department(s) in the IS organization while meeting the goals and objectives of the organization. Provide monthly forecasting and effective budget updates including accruals, detailed variance explanations, and account analysis.

Prepare and process all financial documents, including contracts, within IS cost centers, working with the IS managers in executing the Procure-to-Pay Process while ensuring all organizational controls are followed and approvals are attained.

Prepare annual cost allocation reports for the Business Unit. Process IS related purchases following the Procurement Policy and Procedures from purchase initiation, funding verification, executive approval to invoice payment.

Support IS management with departmental budget preparation, forecast variance explanations, purchases, and other processes.

Serve as a budget liaison between IS and Accounting/Finance.

Conceptual knowledge of Information Technology in an enterprise environment. Ensure Legal and Procurement Policy and Procedures are followed.

Build cooperative relationships with the IS managers and other process stakeholders to establish the best forecast/budget possible for the IS departments.

The following are required:

* Four-year college degree preferably in Business with concentration in Finance or Accounting;

* 2 year's of IT Financials budgeting experience.

* 2 year's experience in budgeting and financial analysis and/or Accounting with a significant high level of responsibility and self-reliant decision making.

* Professional communication skills, both written and oral, and general organizational and time management skills are required.

* Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Advanced Excel and Intermediate Access.

* Work experience with a budgeting and forecasting tool or system.

* SQL a plus.
