BMW of Corpus Christi is seeking a dynamic, creative and engaging Service Director to lead our team. The ideal Service Director Role candidate must be motivated, a quick thinker and have the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner. The Service Director must have a keen attention to detail, the ability to prioritize workload and manage the service team including advisors and technicians. The Service Director must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Who Your Customers Are and How This Role Delivers Value to Them

Your external customers are our clients, prospects and business community members. Your internal customers will be Principle Auto associates, our vendors and contractors. You'll provide value by treating all customers with the highest sense of integrity, honesty and respect. You will work directly with the following team members to ensure their success:

* Principle Auto COO: Our Chief Operating Officer is a dynamic and team centric leader. He is charged with overseeing the overall operations of our dealerships and leads by example. The Service Director will be responsible for delivering on goals and projections agreed to for the service department.

* BMW Corpus Christi General Manager: Our General Manager has a strong attention to detail. The Service Director will report directly to the General Manager to create, implement and report on department goals, initiatives and growth.

Responsibilities:

* Responsible for the departmental growth of sales and profit as well as preparing an annual operating budget for the service department.

* Forecast goals and objectives for the department and strive to meet them.

* Hire, train, motivate, counsel and monitor the performance of all service department staff.

* Oversee all service personnel and maintain professional standards.

* Innovate and update operating policies and procedures to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

* Utilize administrative skills for proper invoice coding and reconciliation.

* Work closely with other departmental managers to promote successful and efficient operations.

* Maintain manufacturer's standards and strive to exceed.

Qualifications:

* Minimum of five years of Service Manager Experience at a multi-million dollar dealership

* BA or BS degree preferred

* ADP experience

* BMW experience a plus

* Must have strong leadership and organizational skills

* Strong communication skills to work with customers, employees and vendors

* Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening

* Valid Driver's License and Clean Driving Record

Physical and Mental Demands:

Works indoors and outdoors and can be exposed to environments of inclement weather, heat, and cold. Position requires the ability to walk and stand for long periods. It may be necessary to work overtime (in excess of 40 hours per week) in order to complete assigned tasks or accomplish Company goals. Requires full range of body motion including walking, climbing, lifting and reaching on a regular basis. Requires corrected vision and finger dexterity in order to manipulate various computer and office equipment. Hearing to a normal range is also a requirement in order to maintain open communication via phone and in person.
