Position Title: Material Coordinator

JOBPURPOSE:

Provide a detailed sequence schedule to operations that enables them to meettheir customer required ship dates and insure assembly components are availableon the production line to maintain an uninterrupted assembly process. Will be required to drive forklifts including: Stand Up, Sit Down,Large Forklifts

JOBDUTIES:

Incumbents on this job serve asan integral part of the material flow and scheduling process. Primary responsibility is ensuring materialis available to maintain an uninterrupted assembly process and the dailyscheduling/sequencing of the master production schedule from the value streamMaterial Analyst.

Material procurement for Reclaim,Disassembly, and Assembly operations

Sequencing daily production schedules for Reclaim and Disassembly operations

Maintain proper min/max inventory levels for line side storage bins

Placing components in their proper storage locations

Conduct daily WIP counts

Update Operations and Supply chain of Schedule adherence in daily morningmeeting.

Operate lift truck as required in area

Create and maintain Purchase Orders (executing MESO) with line side parts

Order literature and packing material

Problem solve root cause for missing parts

Work with MLS, Logistics Supply Chain, and Operations on corrective actions

Communicates to a cross functional team including Operations and Engineering tosolve material issues

Material Coordinators will focus their efforts supporting the 3500/C175 Engine Disassembly Value Stream. They must also be flexible enough to work in other areas as needed. They will be required to interact closely with the Operations team they support.

Physical Requirements:

Must obtain current forklift license where applicable

Will complete 3 weeks OJT

Will complete scissor lifting training where applicable

Must be comfortable driving a forklift including the large 50Klb lift designated for 3500/C175 engines.

Must be able to work outside as needed through all four seasons.

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum 6 months previous manufacturing experience.

Basic computer skills including data entry and use of email.

Job Eligibility Requirements:

* Current agency workers must have worked the required 90 days to be considered for this position.

Top Candidates will also have:

Intermediate experience working with LMS or Inventory systems

Intermediate experience with reading and interpreting blueprints.

Lift Truck experience in a manufacturing setting

Intermediate proficiency with Inventory Management systems or Parts Ordering systems.

Experience working in Supply Chain.

Location: Corinth, MS - Cardinal Drive Facility

Starting Pay: $15.90 per hour paid weekly with an additional $.30 night shift premium.

Must be able to work overtime as needed.
