JOB SUMMARY

The Brink's Company is looking for a Risk Analyst to support the development, implementation and management of various aspects of Brink's risk management, claim management and insurance programs. Position will require availability to work across various time zones with limited travel.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

The Risk Analyst will be expected to perform various duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to:

* providing project support to and generally assisting other personnel in Brink's Risk Management Department;

* supporting the allocation, accounting and budgeting activities associated with insurance premiums and loss costs;

* helping to develop, maintain and/or manage the Department's risk management information system (RMIS), including the information contained within the RMIS;

* supporting data requests for monthly/quarterly reports, renewals, accruals, actuarial reviews, audits and on an ad hoc basis

* performing claims administration duties, including but not limited to managing the monthly claim reporting to all levels within the Brink's organization;

* oversight of daily claim reporting to insurance carriers;

* oversight of the Brink's transitional duty program in partnership with adjusters, injury coordinators, human resources managers and local managers;

* supporting the compilation and production of relevant documents for litigated cases in conjunction with legal, safety and operational department members plus external adjusters and counsel;

* supporting the identification, evaluation and implementation of "best practice" risk and claim management techniques;

* supporting the Risk Management & Insurance (RM&I) Department's relationships with various internal customers and external business partners, including insurers, claims administrators, insurance brokers, outside counsel, risk management consultants, other vendors and customers;

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

* 3-5 years auto liability, worker's compensation, general liability experience in a claims or risk management role

* HS diploma required, college degree preferred

* Thorough knowledge of risk management and insurance principles, claim handling guidelines, legal and medical terminology

* Strong interpersonal skills

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Detail oriented and organized

* High level of diplomacy and tact, ensuring confidentiality of information when required

* Self-motivated, determined, and able to work under own initiative

* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

* Needs to be proficient in Excel, Power Point, and Risk Management and Claim Management Systems

* Strong analytical and interpretive skills

* Able to work independently or in a team environment.
