Body Shop Technician - Automotive Dealership and Repair Shop.

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Body Shop Technician to join our team. As a Body Shop Technician, you will be responsible for repairing damaged vehicles, including cars, trucks, SUVs, and minivans. You will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring that all repairs are completed to the highest standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Repair damaged body parts, such as fenders, bumpers, doors, and hoods.
  • Straighten and frame vehicles that have been involved in collisions.
  • Weld and fabricate metal parts.
  • Paint damaged vehicles.
  • Sand and polish vehicles.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and provide estimates.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all safety procedures and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 18 yrs. of age or older.
  • Must pass background check and drug screen.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Body Shop Technician.
  • Strong knowledge of body repair techniques and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • M-F 9-5 (but flexible) some Saturdays.
