Advantage Resourcing is currently seeking Electrical Assemblers for our client in Conroe, Tx.

MONDAY - FRIDAY 7 AM TO 4 PM (OCCASIONAL OT)

SUMMARY:

Electrical Assemblers are responsible for installing and assembling electrical components and transit devices as directed by the Electricians in accordance with engineering designs and drawings.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Install wire ways, cable trays, and conduit as directed by the Electricians in accordance with design packages and electrical code.

Assemble, install, or maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, or fixtures using hand tools or power tools.

-Use a variety of tools or equipment, such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, hand tools and power tools.

Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures.

Fasten small metal or plastic boxes to walls to house electrical switches or outlets.

-Recognize and report hazards/ Apply safe work methods.

-Operate a forklift as needed or required

QUALIFICATIONS:

1.High School Diploma or GED with at least one year of relevant experience preferred.

2.Ability to use basic hand tools, power tools, tape measure, grinders, and saws.

3.Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.

4.Must be able to read and interpret written and/or oral instructions.

5.Must be able to safely move and relocate heavy objects with assistance of other companies personnel or equipment.

6.Must be able to work at heights exceeding 6 feet.
