Job Description Summary

This position is responsible for providing customer service to internal and external customers. This position will support all departments, with specific focuses on supporting Production and Maintenance workgroups with various task assignments.

Job Description

* Follow all plant safety policies and procedures. Be actively involved in safety, participate in safety programs, engaged in safety activities, perform risk assessments and demonstrate ownership as well as leadership in personal safety and the safety of other team members.

* Good communication and interpersonal skills

* Answers incoming telephone calls and determines purpose of callers then forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department.

* Answers questions about organization and provides callers with address, direction, and other information.

* Updates crew schedules on a daily basis including vacation coverage, call-ins, and temporary job assignments.

* Assists tour facilitator with name badges and proper PPE for visitors.

* Maintain and replace PPE for plant associates when needed.

* Attendance at monthly communications meeting.

* Performs other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying, faxing, and collating.

* Ability to effectively read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English

* Must have computer skills and able to type 40 wpm

* Ability to use own judgment

* Must respect all confidential information

* Ability to work any shift and any day of week

* Must have the ability to work as a productive team member

* Follow good housekeeping practices and GMP's.

* Wear required PPE.

* Actively participate in AMD activities

* Perform any other duties as assigned by a Team Leader

Job Qualifications

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

* 2+ years experience in customer service role

* Proficient in software programs including Word, Outlook, and Excel

* Ability to work all shifts (day , swing, graveyard, rotating) and all days (including weekends)

* Actively practice and abide by all Company work, safety, and personal hygiene rules and regulations as outlined in the employee handbook.

* Must be able to work independently and as a team player, be organized, and plan ahead.
