The intern in this role will be responsible for explaining services and engaging with clients and families and others involved. The intern may be asked to track client paperwork as well. They will be responsible for reviewing paperwork to ensure all is complete in a timely manner. Performance/Physical Requirements:

* Work environment can include an agency office, school based setting, or in the community including clients homes

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

* English reading and writing skills required

* Interacts verbally with coworkers and representatives from outside agencies

* Confidentiality required

* Organizational skills and attention to detail

* Works flexible hours and is available for crisis management by phone

* Computer literacy skills, including Windows applications, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic database usage, as well as basic typing

Qualifications:

* Working towards an Associate's degree in Human Services or related degree
