To pick up discharged patient health records from all Richland campus inpatient and outpatient patient care areas and transporting to Baptist campus for CPDI scanning processing. To reconcile daily discharge report with discharged patient health records to assure accountability for each patient health records for continuum patient care, coding and billing functions. To process patient health record CPDI into Electronic Health Record (EHR) per PH PGR and regulatory guidelines of medical record content. Adheres to Prisma Health Compliance policies and procedures for assignment of complete, accurate, timely and consistent CPDI processing adhering to HIPAA protocol.

Timely and accurate pickup/delivery of all discharged patient health records (Richland/Baptist Campuses).
Reconciles Daily Patient Discharge Report.
Adheres to department standards for CPDI productivity maintaining 97% accuracy.
Quality Assurance (QA) one-fourth of total Richland/Baptist discharges.
Researches and retrieves all identified missing discharged patient health records.
Daily reviews of all Cerner work queues to assure 24 hour turn-around-time (TAT) goal.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education: High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred.
Experience: One year experience in healthcare.
Licensure, Registry or Certification Required: Valid driver's license, an acceptable three-year motor vehicle record as defined by the Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Chart, and a certificate of auto insurance.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
