Works with the staff to develop contract language and execute contracts. Assists staff in tracking and monitoring contracts; generates reports for the Bureau Director to ensure timely renewal of contracts. Works with Division Directors and staff to support the Bureau's finance issues including reviewing and developing program budgets; monitors program expenditures and revenue; provides regular budget updates to the Bureau Director and developing fiscal impact statements. Works with staff to complete processes related to human resources (e.g., recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, employee relations).

Works with PH QI Coordinator and program staff to track Performance Measures and generates reports for Bureau Director. Assists with managing complex federal grants. Responds to and coordinates requests received from the Public Health Chief of Staff and manages special projects. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum and Additional Requirements:

State Minimum Requirements: A bachelor's degree and relevant experience in administrative services, public administration or business management.

Institutions of Higher Learning must be recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.

Agency Additional Requirements: A bachelor's degree in administrative services, public health administration or business administration. At least 4 years health care management experience (including budgets, human resources and contracts).

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Health Administration, or MS in Management (Master's degree can be substituted for one year of work experience). Experience managing large budgets; familiarity with contracts and federal grants.

DRIVING RECORD: If this position requires the applicant to possess a valid driver's license to operate a state vehicle or personal vehicle, any applicant being considered in the final stages of selection for the position will be required to provide a certified copy of a 10-year driving record.
