Job Description

* Serve as operations leader in Advanced Refining Technologies LLC joint venture with Chevron. Serve as a member of the ART leadership team and provide goals and direction as it pertains to production and operations management, strategic manufacturing, supply planning and operations excellence.

* Manage ART capital budget ($10-30m annually).

* Provide direction, coordination, and dotted line leadership to Curtis Bay, Lake Charles hydroprocessing operations to ensure alignment and realization of business objectives.

* Lead the Chicago 71st Street site operations functions including production, maintenance, logistics and support functions.

* Ensure all operations within the manufacturing site, distribution chain and customer interface are carried out safely in accordance with the companies EH&S policies and procedures.

* Maintain and improve Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety standards and performance.

* Promote the development of a continuous improvement culture, including Six Sigma and Lean tools.

* Create and establish plant policies and procedures as needed.

* Further develop a well-trained and engaged site workforce. Lead site communication and recognition efforts.

* Establish and maintain positive community and regulatory agency relations.

* Scope and advocate ways to improve facility competiveness including capital projects and innovative methods of manufacture.

* Work the matrix organization with relationship building to attain cross-functional alignment and optimal results for GRACE.

Required Skills

* Leadership of people. Ability to lead and influence without direct control.

Required Experience

* 15+ years of relevant chemical plant operations leadership experience.

Preferred Qualifications

* Engineering degree, MBA a plus.
