BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, patrol and monitor an assigned campus. Enforce school and District rules, regulations and policies for the safety and security of students, staff, and property; identify gang and drug paraphernalia, report unusual activities or unauthorized persons on campus to the appropriate personnel. Perform all duties with a professional demeanor conducive to positive relationships with students, staff, and community.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Education: High school graduate or the equivalent. Experience: Two years of experience working with middle school or senior high school students.Testing: Passing scores on the District Campus Security/Supervisor test within the last three (3) years.Other: Bilingual/Spanish desirable.LICENSES AND CERTIFICATES:California Class C Driver License; First Aid and CPR certificate; School Security Officer Training (SB 1626) certificate; POST (Peace Officer Standards Training) PC 832 certificate; Oleoresin Capsicum (Pepper Spray) User Course Training certificate; POST recognized Basic Patrol Bicycle Training Certificate (within the first year of employment). All licenses and certifications are required at the time of employment and must be kept current as a condition of continued employment.

TESTING INFORMATION: The District Campus Security/Supervisor test will be given by invitation only on Thursday, August 16, 2018.
