* Verifies status of personnel security investigations and issues interim clearances for the installation. Provides advice and assistance to all installation units.

* Communicates with managers, supervisors, and senior security specialists for purpose of giving or obtaining information on problems where some explanation or interpretation of facts is required.

* Provides guidance to customers in completing the procedures established by senior security specialists in accomplishing the security process.

* Renders service, implements regulations and policies established by senior security specialists, and maintains coordination.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.

Specialized experience is progressively responsible intelligence-related security work directly related to the position being filled. Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector or in another government agency as long as it was at a level at least equivalent to the next lower band in the series.
