This is an open continuous announcement. The first cut off is 19 July 2018. A referral list with qualified applicants from the first cut-off date will be forwarded to management for first consideration. After that, cut off dates will be established as needed.

* Prepares and serves food items which include, but are not limited to: hot dogs, nachos, chips, candy, lemonade drinks, etc.

* Able to work alone.

* Knows simple food handling techniques and the proper use of special cleaning and sanitizing solutions.

* Collects sale slips, totals sales on cash register, accepts payment from patrons, and makes change as necessary.

* Receives verbal and written assignments.

* Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required

* Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position

* A one year probationary period may be required

* Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check

* Completed and signed DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty

* Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training is required within 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually

* Must meet state/local age requirements at the time of appointment if serving alcoholic beverages. Certificate of Medical Examination required

* Satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 2Ls-3,2-15.j.(1)

* Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities


1. Be able to lift and carry weights up to 40 pounds.

2. Possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory.

Highly preferred candidates will also possess:

Previous experience in customer service.

Eligible candidates who meet the highly preferred criteria will be referred to the selecting official first. Other eligible candidates may be referred if requested by the selecting official.
