Senior Technical Accounting Manager

Sr. Manager, Technical Accounting is a new key role for accounting and finance team who

will be reporting to the Controller. You will be conducting accounting research, drafting accounting

policies and memorandums, partnering with other departments on complex contracts and providing

technical support to members of the Finance and Accounting management team.

Being part of a fast-growing company, you will have many opportunities to lead and participate new

accounting policies implementations, i.e. ASC 606 revenue recognition, ASC 842 lease accounting,

etc. You will also be rolling up your sleeves and diving into many detailed transactions to reconcile

and analyze accounts. You enjoy working in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment. You

adapt to changes quickly when new customers, business verticals and operations processes are

being introduced every day.

What You Get to Do Every Day:

 Document and maintain accounting policies and technical memos for consistency and

compliance with US GAAP

 Research, evaluate, and document technical accounting implications and financial impact of

complex and non-standard transactions

 Assist in the preparation of financial statements, disclosures and statement of cash flows

 Prepare technical accounting memorandums as needed for significant transactions and

support the review process with finance management and external auditors

 Work alongside the Corporate Controller on ad-hoc projects requiring specialized accounting

or highly judgmental estimates

 Assist in system implementation projects to ensure proper application of accounting policies

 Assist in non-standard deal review and approval

What You Bring to the Role:

 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

 5-8 years’ experience in Accounting, with at least 5+ years of public accounting (big 4


 Strong technical understanding of US GAAP and US GAAS, Active CPA license is required.

 Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including excellent written, oral, listening and

presentational skills

 Proficient in Microsoft Office and Accounting software, i.e. QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.

 Proven ability to work across many departments with varying levels of staff and management

to solve problems and achieve results

 Highly detail-oriented with excellent time management, prioritization and organizational skills

 Strong analytical skills, efficient, self-motivated with the ability to follow through 

 Ability to work well under pressure

 Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with limited supervision
