Orgill is looking for an Assistant Buyer in Memphis, TN – this is an awesome, entry-level opportunity for a candidate in the purchasing profession! A Bachelor's degree in a business-related field is required and you will interact with vendors for pricing negotiations, maintain accurate item and system maintenance for purchasing, and perform effective warehouse replenishment and inventory management.
What Requirements Should I Have?
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (required) in a business related field and prior experience in the hardware industry or similar field is a plus. As a member of the purchasing team, you will be expected to perform a broad range of simultaneous duties in a fast paced environment while having polished negotiation techniques, excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, and strong listening aptitude. In addition, you will have advanced knowledge of and ability in using various software applications such as Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint. We will help you achieve your goals by continuous professional development and performance reviews.
