IT Project Manager

The IT Project Manager is responsible for leading teams to deliver project(s) that span across one or more business units. Manage resources, schedules, financials, and adhere to stage gate quality and SDLC control guidelines throughout the full systems development life cycle. This also includes management of issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. Contribute to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery.

The IT Project Manager has the authority to run the project on a day-to-day basis. Verify that the project produces the required deliverables of quality, within the specified constraints of time and cost and to achieve the potential benefits defined in the business case.

RequirementsQualified applicants will possess: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in network services, information systems, computer science, accounting or a related field ;four to six years of full time experience in systems analysis and computer programming work, at least two of which involved healthcare and/or financial management systems applications; minimum 2+ year's industry experience as a Program or Project Manager within a technology environment, with a progressive record of successful delivery of solutions, systems, or services on small to medium sized projects; detail oriented; able to prioritize, speak and direct as a business leader; problem solving skills a must; effective written and oral communication with multiple levels of business and technical leadership; ability to coordinate between technical teams and business stakeholders; proficiency with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel data management: Pivots, VLOOKUPs; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification highly desired.
