SUMMARY

This jobs primary purpose is to assist manager in the operation of the Tour Desk.

DUTIES

Process time cards and reports on a daily basis.

Order inventory supplies and uniforms as needed.

Act as manager in all areas of the Tour Desk in the absence of manager.

Assist manager in the operations of Tour Desk.

Assist Tour Desk staff with questions/concerns.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manages one subordinate supervisor who supervises a total of 15 team members in the Tour Desk. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training team members; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining team members; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelors degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance

REASONING ABILITIES

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
