Pre-employment information:

We are a smoke and tobacco free workplace ( We do not hire smokers or tobacco users ).

Able to pass a criminal background, drug and alcohol test.

Able to work all weekends, holidays and nights until closing.

At least 1 year professional Bartender experience in a large volume and fast paced environment.

SUMMARY

To mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to patrons of bar, following standard recipes.

DUTIES

Mixes ingredients, such as liquor, soda, water, sugar and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks.

Serves wine and other draught or bottled beer.

Collects money for drinks served.

Orders and requisitions liquors and supplies.

Places bottled goods and glasses to make an attractive display.

May slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks.

May prepare appetizers, such as pickles, cheese and cold meats.

Complete side work as established prior to next shift.

Monitor guests condition, re: overindulgence. Take appropriate preventative measures.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must have developed language skills to the point to be able to:

Read instructions, rules, etc., looking up unfamiliar words in dictionary for meaning, spelling and pronunciation;

Write sentences, using cursive style, proper end punctuation and employing adjectives and adverbs;

Speak clearly and distinctly with appropriate pauses, emphasis and correct pronunciation.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Requires mathematical development sufficient to be able to: add and subtract. Perform the four basic arithmetic operations with coins as part of a dollar.

REASONING ABILITIES

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

State Liquor Servers License (if applicable), Alcohol Awareness Training (if applicable).
