The Store Manager is responsible for ensuring that Goodwill's culture, best practices, procedures, and policies are followed by all staff, as well as training and developing staff with these principles. This position will set an example for all store workers by providing excellent customer service to all of our customers (retail, donor, telephone, client, and internal), monitor in-store processing and inventory, and optimize the processing of donated items for in-store use and on-going inventory to be shipped to the warehouse. The Store Manager will schedule store employees to ensure adequate coverage and to meet production needs during all hours of operation, as well as ensure that cash control policies are enforced and that all employees who operate the cash register are efficient and accurate. This position will ensure that store reports are accurately completed and that bank deposits are made within the required time-frame.
The Store Manager position has a starting salary ranging from $33,129 to $36,731 per year, depending on experience. Goodwill drives a strong reliability culture and your schedule will include a rotation of days, evenings, and weekends.
