Directs the activities of customers, Verifone authorized service companies, and/or employee training in the operation, installation, and maintenance of company products.
Plans course design and support documentation.
Conducts technical training courses for customers, Verifone authorized service companies, and/or employees in the use of complex situations for multiple products.
Interacts with customer, Verifone authorized service companies, third party trainers, and functional organizations to develop specifications for content of courses.
Works with engineering, technical support, and manufacturing to ensure that course material reflects current product features.
Instructs participants in both classroom lectures and laboratory sessions.
Follows up to determine applicability of course material.
Creates Internet based training programs including design of graphics and templates, building HTML backing & voices modules.
Manages training relationship with partner company remote training staff.
Manages existing curriculums offered by Verifone
Works in live field environments with certified technicians on Verifone hardware/software
Travel may be required up to 25%; candidates must be able to travel on limited notice
Candidate must be able to lift 40lbs
Candidate must possess a valid US driver license
Candidate must pass background screening, including credit and criminal history

Knowledge and Experience:

BA/BS preferred or relevant experience
Prefer overall experience of 5+ years in payments industry, preferably POS/payment technology specific.
Ability to work unsupervised for long periods of time including travelling while managing programs
Must be able to demonstrate strong functional knowledge of MS Office products
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple product/ projects while working under heavy time constraints
Ability to analyze new products and design curriculums appropriate for the level at which the information is delivered
Ability to demonstrate intermediate networking knowledge required
Excellent technical comprehension skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including audio recording
Ability to work in a distributed team structure that includes shared development responsibilities
Prefer experience with Adobe Dreamweaver, Articulate Studio, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Photoshop, SharePoint
