The Chief Medical Officer, BCHS is the top Physician Executive and is responsible for leading the medical management agenda of BayCare Health System. This individual is responsible for initiating and directing efforts to systematically improve the quality, safety and efficiency of clinical care and service delivery across all segments and operations to the System. He or she oversees the system CMOs and medical leadership team to both develop and maintain high quality physician leadership which in turn creates, integrates and grows synergies between physicians and BayCare Health System that efforts maximize the delivery of productive, cost-effective, clinical best-practices all being goal-oriented for the System, its patients and its physicians.
