Godwin, a Xylem brand, offers a broad product line of fully automatic self-priming pumps used in temporary and permanent applications. With a full range of diesel and electric pumps available to purchase or rent, Godwin pumps are used for dewatering and liquids transfer in mining, constructions, municipal and industrial projects around the world.

The Role: Godwin, a Xylem brand, seeks to hire a Superintendent Oil and Gas Operations. The superintendent is responsible for overall operation, supervision and efficiency of field projects including planning, scheduling, cost containment, and safety.

Essential Functions:

* Participate with Project Manager in planning and scheduling for the project, including reviewing project documents (e.g., contracts, specifications, plans, etc.).

* Hire, fire, performance manage and evaluate employees.

* Plan and execute moderate to large size jobs consistent with bid/quote and direction from Project Manager.

* Determine work priorities and coordinate work activities for the project (to include multiple sites).

* Organize, coordinate and supervise Working Foreman

* Work directly with Project Manager in controlling project costs.

* Control rate of project progress in order to complete project within designated time limits; estimate material and staffing needs.

* Review and approve hours scheduled and worked, including all request for overtime.

* Effectively manage overtime costs proportionate with project revenues as directed

* Maintain field documentation on all work performed and materials used.

* Implement and monitor onsite ESH procedures and practices ensuring compliance with XDS and customer safety requirements.

* Coordinate with other XDS departments/branches to plan, schedule and supervise project-related activities on site.

* Direct as needed any other personnel assigned to project (e.g., clerical staff, etc.).

* Maintain opened and direct communication with Project Manager.

* Available for on-site after-hours emergencies as necessary.

* Other duties as assigned

* Supervise 2-4 working foreman/ project

Minimum Qualifications:

* Higher educational degree/certificate or vocational course work preferred

* Work experience in building construction, underground utilities, construction project coordination, or oil and gas fields preferred

* Two (2) years field/project supervisory experience

* Knowledge and understanding of XDS rental equipment and accessories and general yard equipment.

* Knowledge and understanding of XDS set-up/mobilization and breakdown/demobilization for products offered.

* Proficient in knowledge of XDS paperwork flow associated with a field project.

* Demonstrated ability to properly complete project documentation on a timely basis.

* Knowledge of electrical, mechanical and pipeline systems.

* Knowledge of civil and underground construction, including materials, tools and machines.

* Demonstrated ability to supervise project schedules, costs, and personnel.

* Thoroughly familiar with XDS and customer safety requirements.

* Proficient in general computer, writing, communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to meet physical requirements noted below.

* Ability to safely operate company vehicle as needed throughout work shift.

* Clear, valid driver's license

* XDS Safety Program, specifically knowledge of job site hazard assessments and safety plans
