Configuration Management Specialist: Intermediate

* Responsible for configuration management planning.

* Describes provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting and configuration audits.

* Identifies and maintains the original configuration of requirements documentation, design documentation, and related documentation.

* Responsible for configuration change control and management of the change control board.

* Regulates the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents.

* Responsible for configuration status accounting.

* Tracks all problems and changes in product documents and reports changes and current configuration.

* Responsible for configuration audits.

* Supports audits to verify that requirements of all baselines have been met.

* Supports quality assurance process audits.


* Doctorate and 1 year of experience, or Master's degree and 2 years of experience, or Bachelor's and 4 years of experience, or Associate's and 6 years of experience, or High School and 10 years of experience.

* Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, be customer and detail oriented and possess good decision-making abilities.

* Configuration Management Certification Preferred (NDIA, CMII, or CMPIC)


Clearance: Current US Secret with SSBI Clearance (Top Secret preferred)
